A well-established three-star hotel situated at one of Cornwall’s most westerly and scenic coastal locations is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Shift Manager to join their Front of House / Bar team. The operation centres and prides itself on hosting the best events/weddings and stay/dine experiences in West Cornwall. This is an exciting opportunity for a customer‑focused hospitality professional who enjoys working in a dynamic seaside environment and leading teams to deliver excellent guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support the Front of House and Bar teams during shifts
- Ensure exceptional customer service at all times
- Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Handle guest queries and resolve issues professionally
- Maintain service standards, cleanliness, and health & safety compliance
- Support staff training and motivation
- Assist with stock control and cash handling
About You
- Previous experience in hospitality, ideally in a supervisory or shift leader role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
