We are seeking a Hygiene Operative to work at an award-winning, family‑run food production business in Lostwithiel. This is a temporary position to cover on‑going sickness. You must be able to drive and have your own car.

Reporting to the Hygiene Team Leader, this role is to ensure staff facilities, factory and offices remain in a clean and hygienic standard. Following the Cleaning Instruction cards to ensure the tasks are carried out in a safe and logical manner.

We are looking for a person who is self‑motivated, has an eye for detail and takes pride in their work and maintains a can‑do attitude.

The role includes:

  • Factory production areas to include use of foaming units and hoses.
  • Preparation of factory equipment to enable cleaning process and reassembly.
  • Factory facilities, including offices.
  • External silo and environmental cleaning.
  • Main office including meeting rooms and toilets.
  • Staff rest areas, including vending machines and smoking area.
