Childcare Support Worker - Children's Home
We are currently looking for an experienced and compassionate Carer/Support Worker to support a child with autism within a children's home setting.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a great company that is continuing to expand.
The home is growing and has the potential to support up to 3 children, offering on-going opportunities for the right people to become part of a dedicated and supportive team.
You will play an important role in providing high-quality care, supporting daily routines, managing behaviours, and helping create a safe, positive, and nurturing environment for the children.
Role Details
- 24-hour shifts: 7:00am - 7:00am (including a sleep-in)
- £13.20 per hour - waking day
- Weekly pay every Friday via PAYE
- Holiday pay included
- Ongoing work available
- Approx. 1-3 shifts per week (shift pattern varies)
Requirements
- Enhanced Children's DBS (essential)
- Safeguarding Children training
- Manual Handling training
- Medication training/experience
- PMVA (Positive Management of Violence and Aggression) training
- Experience supporting children with autism and managing challenging behaviours
