My client, an award-winning luxury hotel in Falmouth, is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Chef to join their talented kitchen team. This is a varied and hands-on role, working closely with the Head Chef and senior management team to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy, high-quality kitchen. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining exceptional food standards while supporting and motivating the wider brigade.
The hotel is renowned for its outstanding food offering and hosts a variety of special events throughout the year, making this an exciting opportunity for a chef who enjoys diversity within their role.
The Role
- Supporting the efficient day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Working as part of the senior leadership team within the brigade
- Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
- Assisting with training, mentoring and developing junior chefs
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Contributing to menus for both restaurant service and special events
Working Pattern
- 3 to 4 shifts per week: 12pm - 9pm
- Covering 2 breakfast shifts per week: 5.30am - 1.30pm
- A varied role across restaurant, events and function catering - not one day is the same
