We are currently recruiting for a
Cook to join a busy school near Redruth. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and enthusiastic individual who enjoys cooking and is passionate about providing nutritious meals for children and young people.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in food preparation and cooking, ideally within a school or catering environment. You will be responsible for preparing and serving meals, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen, and ensuring all food hygiene and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing and cooking nutritious meals.
Ensuring food is prepared and served on time.
Maintaining a clean, tidy and hygienic kitchen.
Following food hygiene and health and safety procedures.
Working closely with the kitchen team to ensure the smooth running of the service.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Previous cooking or catering experience.
Knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
Good organisational and time management skills.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A positive, flexible and reliable approach.
