Fettler

Our client a British manufacturer of agricultural machinery is seeking a full time fettler to join their established team on a permanent basis.

What we offer:

• Monday - Thursday
• 06.30 - 16.45
• £13.45 per hour

The role:

• Fettling, sanding, and de-burring metal components to engineering drawings.
• Operating hand, air, and power tools to remove sharp edges and finish parts.
• Part marking, reworking parts, and supporting quality control checks.
• Collection/movement of parts from different locations within the factory.
• Meet the expected standards of accuracy, efficiency and quality as set by the Company.
• Inspect completed work for defects and make necessary repairs as required.
• Maintain tools and equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Operation of all associated machinery and tools to move components.

Requirements:

• Experience of using a variety of Hand Tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively
