We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Structural Engineer to join our multi-discipline practice of Architects, Town Planners and Chartered Technicians. This is a unique chance to contribute your expertise while actively participating in the growth and development of a well-established Company in Cornwall. Based in Cornwall, we operate across Devon and Cornwall, focusing on diverse projects in residential and commercial sectors. From small domestic alterations to large-scale, multi-million-pound ventures in captivating locations, we are at the forefront of innovation and creativity in structural engineering.

As a key team member, you will undertake detailed structural design and analysis of elements and frames in concrete, steel, timber, and masonry. Your role involves collaborating directly with architects and fellow design team members to overcome design challenges and meet project deadlines.

Structural Engineer Requirements:
  • The right candidate will ideally have a minimum of 3-4 years post-graduation experience following completion of a degree recognised by the IStructE or ICE.
  • Experience with design software such as Tekla Structural Designer, TEDDS, Robot etc. will be beneficial.
  • Our team of Technicians work with AutoCAD and Revit, and a good working knowledge of the software will be advantageous.
  • Working independently as well as part of a team, depending on the project.
  • A driving license and own transport are essential.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage workload and time frames.
