Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is dedicated to promoting positive mental health and wellbeing. Our Home Treatment and Crisis teams play a vital role in the acute care pathway for individuals experiencing mental health challenges, and we are investing to enhance these services. We are expanding to deliver top-quality mental health care for those in crisis and are working towards QN-CRHTT accreditation.

A generous relocation package is available for this role. We are a forward-thinking and innovative team currently building our services to meet evolving needs in crisis care.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of an established integrated multi-disciplinary Home Treatment Team, Mental Health Connect line and Crisis Hub.
  • triage and respond to mental health crisis calls and referrals, providing interventions, support, guidance and signposting.
  • Deliver timely and responsive face-to-face assessments where required.
  • Rotate between working in the Home Treatment Team, the Crisis Hub and the Mental Health Connect Helpline to broaden experience and add variety to the post.

Who we are looking for

  • We welcome applications from nurses, occupational therapists and social workers.
  • The team includes a Psychiatrist, Nurses, Occupational Therapist, Approved Mental Health Practitioners, Social Workers, CAPS, Wellbeing Coaches and Support Time Recovery Workers, with admin and psychology support.
  • We are a NHS community and mental health provider Trust based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, delivering care in homes, community clinics, bases, and 13 community hospitals.

Working patterns

  • This is a full-time post, working 13 long days/nights over a 4-week period. Part-time hours considered.
