This role supports delivery across key areas of the marketing team, working closely with the Head of Demand Generation to help drive Sales Ready Leads for the business, as well as other members of the marketing team. The Marketing Assistant provides hands-on support across email marketing, video and content creative, social media, webinars, podcasts, paid media and events, helping to ensure marketing activity runs smoothly, on time and to a high standard. This is a broad, varied role suited to someone keen to build well-rounded marketing experience across both demand generation, marketing operations and brand/content disciplines.
Key Responsibilities- Support the planning, build and execution of email campaigns in Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot), including list segmentation, testing and scheduling.
- Create and edit video and graphic design content for use across campaigns, social channels and the website.
- Plan and schedule social media posts across relevant channels, in line with the content and campaign calendar.
- Support the end-to-end management of webinars via ON24, including build, testing, promotion and post-event follow-up.
- Support the production of podcast episodes, from planning and recording logistics through to editing and publishing.
- Act as day-to-day point of contact for the agency managing SEM and paid social activity, briefing requirements and monitoring performance.
- Support the planning and delivery of events, including logistics, promotion and on-the-day support where required.
- Pull together regular reporting on campaign, content and channel performance to support the wider marketing team's decision-making.
- Provide general administrative and coordination support across the marketing team as needed.
- Some experience or strong interest in email marketing, ideally with exposure to Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot) or a similar marketing automation platform.
- Basic video and graphic editing and creative skills, with an interest in developing further (for example, Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Adobe Express or Canva).
- Experience planning and posting content on social media platforms (for example, LinkedIn or X) for a business audience.
- Familiarity with webinar platforms (for example, ON24, Zoom or Teams) or willingness to learn.
- Interest in podcast production, including recording, editing and publishing workflows.
- Confident communicator, able to brief external agencies and manage day-to-day agency relationships.
- Good organisational and project coordination skills, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with data and pulling together straightforward performance reports.
- A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to get involved across a broad range of marketing activities.
- Some experience in a marketing, communications or related role (internship or placement experience considered).
- Exposure to email marketing platforms or marketing automation tools desirable (for example, Salesforce Account Engagement/Pardot, HubSpot or Mailchimp).
- Experience with social media management for a business or professional audience.
- Basic video creation/editing skills highly desirable.
- Degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
