We’re looking for Bank Healthcare Assistants to provide hands‑on, person‑centred care and emotional support to patients and families when it matters most.

Hospice experience is a real advantage, but it’s not essential — bring your compassion, curiosity, and willingness to learn, and support will be provided.

About the role

As a Bank Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing holistic, person‑centred care, ensuring every patient is treated with dignity, respect and kindness.

Your role will include:

  • Supporting with personal care and daily living needs
  • Helping patients feel comfortable, safe and cared for
  • Providing emotional support to patients and their loved ones
  • Working closely with nurses and the wider team to deliver the highest quality care
  • Creating a calm, compassionate and reassuring environment

Working pattern

This role involves working as and when needed, including:

  • Nights
  • Bank holidays
