Venues typically include farmer’s markets, historical sites and shows/events. If you have fundraising/sales experience, an outgoing personality and an interest in Cornish history, then we would love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit new members of the Cornwall Heritage Trust, selling merchandise, engaging with attendees, accepting and facilitating donations.
  • Attend pre-booked venues/events and set up materials (this can include setting up gazebos and displays, to sharing historic handling objects).
  • Complete all relevant paperwork, reports and timesheets in an accurate and timely manner in line with management requirements, including the use of IT.
  • Represent Cornwall Heritage Trust in a professional and informed manner at all times, whether engaging with members of the public, venues, Trust staff, volunteers or any other supporters.
  • Comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to ensure the privacy of individuals.
  • Follow and implement the Institute of Fundraising (IoF) guidelines.
  • Relay any feedback received from the public, supporters, or members to the Membership Manager in a timely manner.
