We are a fast paced, growing Cornish firm, seeking a qualified, motivated electrician to join our team on a full-time, permanent PAYE basis. As a trusted contractor to high-profile local businesses, we deliver quality electrical solutions across industrial, commercial, and selected residential projects.
You will carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems to a high standard, supporting services including testing, installations, solar PV, battery storage, and EV charging infrastructure. Our office is based in Redruth, so you must be located within 10 miles radius.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair industrial, commercial and domestic electrical systems and equipment in line with current regulations and standards.
- Conduct fault finding, testing, and inspection to ensure compliance and safety.
- Work independently and collaboratively with colleagues to deliver projects including new installs, upgrades, and refurbishments.
- Confidently manage projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Complete job documentation and maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Provide a high level of customer service, ensuring clear communication and customer satisfaction at all stages.
Essential:
- At least 3 years experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work in both Commercial and Domestic sectors.
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
- 18th Edition (BS7671) qualification.
- Testing & Inspection 2391.
- Experience with EV charging systems.
- Full UK driving licence (max 3 points).
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
- Reliable, detail-focused, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
