We are a fast paced, growing Cornish firm, seeking a qualified, motivated electrician to join our team on a full-time, permanent PAYE basis. As a trusted contractor to high-profile local businesses, we deliver quality electrical solutions across industrial, commercial, and selected residential projects. You will carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems to a high standard, supporting services including testing, installations, solar PV, battery storage, and EV charging infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial, commercial and domestic electrical systems and equipment in line with current regulations and standards.
- Conduct fault finding, testing, and inspection to ensure compliance and safety.
- Work independently and collaboratively with colleagues to deliver projects including new installs, upgrades, and refurbishments.
- Confidently manage projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Complete job documentation and maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Provide a high level of customer service, ensuring clear communication and customer satisfaction at all stages.
Requirements
Essential:
- At least 3 years experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work in both Commercial and Domestic sectors.
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
- 18th Edition (BS7671) qualification.
- Testing & Inspection 2391.
- Experience with EV charging systems.
- Full UK driving licence (max 3 points).
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
- Reliable, detail-focused, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Location- within 10 miles of Redruth.
Desirable:
- Experience with solar PV and battery storage installations.
- Basic IT/computer skills.
- Good understanding of health and safety practices.
