About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and people-focused Marketing Executive to act as the marketing representative at Bicton College for the wider Cornwall College Group marketing team.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys people, communication and working independently. You’ll become embedded within day‑to‑day campus life—building strong relationships with curriculum and support teams, spotting opportunities, supporting recruitment activity and helping keep marketing relevant, current and visible across the campus.
Working closely with colleagues across the college and the wider group, you’ll help coordinate local marketing activity, support events, identify stories and act as the link between Bicton College and the central marketing function. Through day‑to‑day conversations, content gathering and on‑campus visibility, you’ll help surface and share the activity, successes and experiences that reflect life at Bicton.
The role includes supporting communications through student stories, newsletters, social media content and wider campus updates, while helping identify opportunities to strengthen course pages, recruitment visibility and campus communications.
While based at Bicton College, the role forms part of the wider Cornwall College Group marketing team, with regular digital catch‑ups, ongoing support from colleagues across the group and occasional face‑to‑face meetings with the line manager. The successful candidate will be comfortable working proactively and independently, while building strong local relationships and becoming a trusted part of the Bicton community.
Ideal for someone who is organised, approachable, self‑motivated and confident working across a busy campus environment.
Benefits
Generous annual leave schemes – 25 days per annum for support roles, plus a paid Christmas closure of two weeks for most roles.
Access to generous occupational pension schemes for teachers and support staff.
Flexible and supportive family friendly working practices.
A range of staff development activities available and all employees have access to free tuition on many of our courses.
A range of health and wellbeing initiatives to our employees including access to free counselling and a corporate eye care scheme.
Employee discount scheme via a corporate benefit scheme – discounts with major retailers.
Most of our campus sites offer free parking to employees as well as discounted restaurants and salons.
