About the Role
An exciting opportunity has become available to join the team at our Cornwall College University Centre based at the Eden Project, supporting the curriculum team to deliver innovative education in an inspiring location to a growing group of university-level students. We’re looking for somebody flexible, well-organised, and proactive, to provide administrative support and liaise with both Cornwall College and Eden Project staff teams to ensure the smooth running of the site and an outstanding experience for students, prospective students, and visitors. You will provide a warm welcome at reception, give initial advice and guidance to applicants, and work with finance and student information systems to support the logistics of running a busy curriculum area.
Skills & Experience
You will need excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritise a varied workload whilst completing routine tasks accurately and on time. With an understanding of confidentiality and previous experience in a customer / learner focussed environment, you will work with colleagues in other areas of College business to provide wraparound care for students, support the delivery of commercial consultancy, and ensure the success of externally funded projects. You should enjoy the logistical challenges of organising events, such as open days, conferences, careers and fresher’s fairs, and will support course leaders to organise residential and international field courses. Excellent opportunities for continuing professional development exist within this role. You will be supported by us to develop your knowledge and skills through internal and external training events.
