About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Study Programme Lead for Health and Social Care to manage all aspects of the programme and deliver an outstanding learning experience that enables learners to achieve their maximum potential. Working closely with the Curriculum Area Manager, you will be accountable for the full learner journey, from marketing, promotion and initial advice through to successful progression, achievement and positive destinations. You will ensure high standards of teaching, learning and assessment across Health and Social Care, monitor attendance, behaviour, retention and success, and provide proactive intervention and support where needed. Acting as the main point of contact for apprentices and parents/guardians, you will champion learner voice, support careers guidance, track progress through individual learning plans, and celebrate learner success across the College and within the Health and Social Care sector.

Skills & Experience

We are looking for a candidate with current experience within the Health and Social Care sector and a strong background in teaching, training and/or assessing the subject area, alongside experience of programme management. You will have up-to-date knowledge of sector legislation, policies and best practice, significant industry experience, and excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
