About the Role

Based at our Camborne Campus, we are looking for a new Head of Faculty to lead our Cornwall Counselling Institute, based within our Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ College. This is an exciting opportunity to provide inspirational and supportive leadership to a team committed to developing the next generation of counselling professionals. You will create an exciting, inclusive and ambitious learning environment where learners are supported to achieve their potential and develop the knowledge, skills and confidence they need for their future careers. You will lead on curriculum, teaching and learning, quality and performance, while ensuring we listen and respond to the needs of our learners, staff and professional partners. We are looking for a visible, approachable and supportive leader who enjoys developing people, celebrating success and working collaboratively. You will bring high expectations, a positive outlook and a genuine passion for counselling education and making a difference to learners. Working alongside colleagues across the College, you will help the Cornwall Counselling Institute continue to grow and thrive, building on its strong reputation and ensuring an outstanding experience for both learners and staff.

Skills & Experience

  • A recognised counselling qualification (minimum Level 5 Diploma or equivalent).
  • Significant experience of delivering counselling to children, young people and adults.
  • Experience of leading and managing teams, with a management or leadership qualification or equivalent senior leadership experience.
  • Significant experience of working at a senior management or leadership level.
  • A full teaching qualification or equivalent teaching experience.
