About the Role: We are looking for a Careers Leader for our students across the Cornwall College Group. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that students have access to independent careers guidance as well as information and advice on progression opportunities and a chance to develop their employability skills. The post holder will directly line manage staff as well as coordinate the activity of external careers provision. The role will also need to work with a range of college staff to ensure that there is a full careers programme and provision available to support our diverse range of students. The role is a cross college role and is likely to be required to travel to other campuses to ensure that provision is in place. However, the base campus can be agreed for the successful candidate.
Skills & Experience: Experience of providing careers guidance and support is vital and a Level 6 qualification in Careers Guidance will be required (this can be gained in post if required). The successful candidate will hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in English and Maths as well as a level 3 qualification. Experience in leading a team is desirable. Hours of work: This role is full time (37 hours) working over 5 days.
