About the Role
We're looking for an ambitious and relationship‑focused Business Partnership Advisor to join Cornwall College Group. In this exciting, cross‑college role, you'll work with employers across Cornwall to grow apprenticeship opportunities in hospitality, hair, digital, business and professional services, helping businesses develop talent while creating life‑changing opportunities for apprentices. You'll play a key role in delivering our ambitious 1000 Futures Campaign, helping to expand our apprenticeship provision and support 1,000 apprentices into meaningful employment opportunities each academic year. Skills & Experience
- An experienced employer engagement and business development professional with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse portfolio of employers, acting as a trusted point of contact for apprenticeship and training provision.
- Skilled in converting employer pipelines into measurable performance by understanding workforce development needs, promoting apprenticeship standards, commercial training, and funded learning opportunities, and developing tailored training solutions in collaboration with curriculum teams.
- Committed to delivering an exceptional employer and learner experience, from apprentice recruitment and onboarding through to programme completion, ensuring compliance, smooth transitions and ongoing support.
- Adept at gathering and responding to employer feedback to drive continuous improvement, maintain high levels of satisfaction and retention, and resolve issues proactively.
- A confident networker with experience representing organisations at employer events, identifying new business opportunities and developing strategic partnerships that support apprenticeship growth.
- Highly organised with strong CRM, reporting and data analysis skills, enabling informed decision‑making and effective account management.
- Passionate about delivering high‑quality apprenticeship outcomes, achieving recruitment and performance targets, fostering inclusive and collaborative relationships, and continuously developing professionally while upholding organisational values and a commitment to equality, diversity and safeguarding.
