About the Role
Due to continued growth, Duchy College Stoke Climsland is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual to lead and deliver our Automotive Course Programme (Levels 1–3). In this role, you will be responsible for developing high‑quality learning resources, delivering engaging and effective teaching, and implementing robust assessment strategies. You will monitor and support student progress, provide pastoral and academic guidance, and ensure that all workshop facilities and equipment are maintained in line with the highest health and safety standards. The successful candidate will also play an active role in promoting the programme at recruitment and marketing events, while managing key administrative responsibilities, including maintaining accurate student records and documentation.
Skills & Experience
Applicants should have relevant work‑based experience within the Automotive Engineering sector. Candidates must possess an appropriate level of commercial, academic, or vocational expertise in Automotive Engineering, supported by recent and relevant industry experience. A recognised teaching qualification is desirable; however, for the right candidate, Cornwall College can provide support and opportunities to achieve a teaching qualification while in post.
