The predicted salary is between 11 - 14 £ per hour.

We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Practitioner to contribute to the delivery of our Additional Learning Support (ALS) provision for learners who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. This role will be based within our Construction department, supporting learners in Motor Vehicle lessons, as well as in English and Maths classes. The purpose of the role is to support individual or small groups of learners in the achievement of their learning goals and the development of independent life and employability skills. A Learning Support Practitioner may also support learners with communication, behavioural & emotional difficulties and social anxiety. Learning Support Practitioners will aim to work with learners to develop independent study skills and strategies to assist in their own learning.

Skills & Experience

Literacy and numeracy qualifications, or a willingness to work towards Level 2, are essential.

Hours of Work

4 days per week – 8.30 am to 2.30 pm (days to be discussed)
