About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and reliable individual to join our Estates team, supporting the maintenance and day-to-day operations of the College buildings and grounds.
Responsibilities
- Carry out a wide range of facilities duties, including internal decoration, changing light bulbs, fixing notice boards, and completing scheduled compliance checks (including emergency lighting, fire safety equipment, and water systems).
- Use facilities management software to record tasks and ensure compliance.
- As part of a rota team, assist in unlocking and locking buildings, sorting and delivering mail, managing parcels, keeping the site clean and tidy, and disposing of waste and recycling.
Skills & Experience
- Full driving licence; willing to obtain a PCV licence (desirable).
- Recognised maintenance qualification (desirable).
- Experience using hand tools and industrial power tools.
- Some knowledge of basic maintenance and awareness of Health & Safety requirements (advantageous).
Hours of work
20 Hour Week Role – 18:00 to 22:00 (4 hours).
