About the Role
A position has become available for an Equine Technician to assist in the running of the Equestrian Centre, supervision of yard duties and upholding the horse\βs welfare within the Equine Department at Duchy College, Stoke Climsland.

The position includes practical teaching of duty sessions so a teaching qualification (Level 2 Introduction to Trainer Skills or equivalent) is required for this role.
β
The post holder will be required to take sole charge of small groups of students when on yard duties which will include weekends. Training and riding a variety horses is an essential requirement within this job role. Applicants need to have a can-do approach and willingness to contribute to our equestrian team in practice and promote the College through promotional events throughout the year.

Skills & Experience
Applicants would ideally be qualified to BHS Stage 3 care and Stage 2 teach with experience of riding and working with a range of horses.

Hours of work
This role is on a full-time basis; 37 Hours per week.
