Location: Bicton

Salary: £26,795.04 to £27,846 FTE (CC_34 to CC_36), Part time salary for 15 hours £10,865.40 to £11,286.60.

Terms & Conditions: Part Time (15 hours/52 weeks), Teaching Contract

About the Role

Based at Bicton College, we are looking for an experienced individual to join the dynamic and supportive Equine teaching team. The role includes tutoring, teaching and assessing learners in a range of equine subjects both in the classroom and in a practical environment. We are focussed on a rich, rewarding and high‑quality experience for our students to ensure they are well prepared for the industry. We are looking for candidates with a broad experience in the equine industry and a very hands‑on approach with sound knowledge to support this. The individual should have a proven track record of teaching riding and stable management to a range of clients/students.

Skills & Experience

  • Equine based qualifications at a minimum level 4 or above are required.
  • A teaching qualification is desirable; however, it is essential to work towards a teaching qualification if one is not currently held.

The successful candidate will be supported with training towards further British Horse Society qualifications, have access to our livery arrangements and be able to participate in our clinics and events that Bicton College hold through the year.
