Engineering Learning Support Technician

Salary: Β£24,069.24 FTE (CC_28)
Terms & Conditions: Full Time (37 hours/52 weeks), Support Contract

About the Role
Based at our Camborne Engineering Department, we are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Learning Support Technician. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the delivery of high-quality engineering education by assisting with lesson preparation, maintaining workshop equipment, and providing instruction during practical sessions. You will help ensure that all learning and teaching resources are well-prepared and readily available, giving students the best possible chance to succeed.

Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have recent industrial experience working in engineering workshops and hold at least a Level 2 qualification in an engineering discipline. A strong understanding of health and safety requirements in this environment is essential. Applicants should also hold a clean driving licence and be either first aid trained or willing to work towards qualification. Additionally, the successful candidate should hold or be willing to obtain a teaching qualification.
