Our client is a leading live events and production company. They are looking for an experienced Technical Manager specialising in Video to support the delivery of large-scale events and venue productions across the EMEA region.

This role is ideal for a technically strong video professional with expertise in high-end AV systems, live event delivery, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead all video-related technical planning and on-site execution for live events and productions
  • Design and manage video systems, signal flow, equipment specifications, and production plans
  • Operate and troubleshoot high-end video equipment and large venue AV systems
  • Manage on-site crews, subcontractors, and technical workflows to ensure seamless event delivery
  • Collaborate with project managers, warehouse teams, and clients throughout the event lifecycle
  • Ensure all productions meet company safety, operational, and client service standards
  • Support technician mentoring, equipment maintenance, and continuous process improvement
Requirements:
  • 5+ years’ experience in live events AV/video production
  • Expert-level technical knowledge of video systems and live production technology
  • Previous crew leadership or technical management experience
  • Strong understanding of event operations and health & safety standards
  • Flexibility to travel extensively across the EMEA region
