They are looking for an experienced Technical Manager specialising in Rigging to support large-scale venue productions across the EMEA region. This role is ideal for a hands-on rigging professional with strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and experience delivering complex live event environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all rigging-related technical planning and on-site delivery for live events and large venue productions
- Design production plans, rigging layouts, equipment requirements, and labour allocation
- Manage on-site rigging crews, subcontractors, and health & safety compliance
- Troubleshoot and operate high-end rigging systems and event production equipment
- Collaborate with project managers, warehouse teams, and clients to deliver seamless event execution
- Support post-show reporting, equipment maintenance, and continuous operational improvement
- Mentor and develop technicians while promoting best practice and safety standards
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in live events rigging
- Expert-level technical rigging knowledge within the AV/live production industry
- Previous crew leadership or technical team management experience
- Strong understanding of event safety and operational standards
- Flexibility to travel extensively across the EMEA region
