A global live events and production company is looking for an experienced Technical Specialist – Audio to lead the design, planning and delivery of audio systems for corporate and large-scale live events. This role combines technical expertise, project coordination and on-site leadership, ensuring seamless event delivery and exceptional client experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and plan audio solutions for live events, supporting project managers during pre-production.
  • Create technical documentation and drawings using Vectorworks and simulation tools such as D&B ArrayCalc.
  • Operate and manage professional mixing consoles including Yamaha, DiGiCo and Allen & Heath.
  • Build and tune PA systems (e.g. D&B, L-Acoustics, Martin Audio line arrays).
  • Deploy and manage RF microphone and IEM systems (Shure, Sennheiser) and comms systems such as GreenGo, Clear-Com and RTS.
  • Lead on-site technical teams, troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth event execution.

Requirements

  • ~5+ years’ experience in live event audio or production environments.
  • ~ Strong experience with professional PA systems, RF coordination and live mixing.
  • ~ Ability to create technical documentation and plan complex audio systems.
  • ~ Previous experience leading technical teams on event sites.
