A global live events and audio-visual production company is looking for a Technical Specialist – Video to support the design, setup, and delivery of high-end AV systems for live events. This role is ideal for an experienced AV professional who can lead onsite video teams while ensuring flawless technical delivery and exceptional client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement video systems for live events in collaboration with production and project teams.
- Produce accurate technical drawings and schematics using Vectorworks.
- Operate advanced video switching systems (e.g. Barco E2/S3) and manage complex multi-switcher workflows.
- Plan and deploy large-scale projection systems using Barco, Christie, and Panasonic projectors.
- Lead multi-screen LED display builds and manage video processing systems.
- Supervise technicians onsite and ensure smooth setup, operation, and breakdown of AV equipment.
- Troubleshoot technical issues quickly during live events to maintain seamless delivery.
- Support pre-production planning including media server and switching workflows.
