Our client is a globally recognised electronics brand who are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Demand Planner to join their operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their supply chain career to develop expertise in forecasting, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
You will support the demand planning process by analysing trends, contributing to forecasts, and helping ensure optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in developing and maintaining demand forecasts using historical data and market insights
- Analyse sales trends, seasonality, and promotional activity to improve forecast accuracy
- Support the monthly demand planning cycle, including data preparation and reporting
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to gather inputs and validate assumptions
- Monitor forecast performance, identify variances, and provide insights
- Maintain accurate data within planning systems and ensure data integrity
- Support inventory planning by identifying risks such as stock shortages or excess stock
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders
- Contribute to forward-looking sales planning and monthly estimation processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field ideally
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas)
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a supply chain environment
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Basic understanding of forecasting methods and inventory management
