Our client is a globally recognised electronics brand looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Demand Planner to join their operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their supply chain career to develop expertise in forecasting, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
You will support the demand planning process by:
- Analysing trends, contributing to forecasts, and helping ensure optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand.
- Assisting in developing and maintaining demand forecasts using historical data and market insights.
- Supporting the monthly demand planning cycle, including data preparation and reporting.
- Collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to gather inputs and validate assumptions.
- Monitoring forecast performance, identifying variances, and providing insights.
- Maintaining accurate data within planning systems and ensuring data integrity.
- Supporting inventory planning by identifying risks such as stock shortages or excess stock.
- Contributing to forward-looking sales planning and monthly estimation processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field ideally.
- Proficiency in Excel (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Basic understanding of forecasting methods and inventory management.
