Overview
Our client is a globally recognised electronics brand who are looking for a talented AI Engineer to join their innovation team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI/ML solutions that deliver real business value, from designing and training models to deploying scalable applications in production.
What you’ll do
- Build and refine AI/ML models, including LLM-based solutions (RAG, fine-tuning, prompt engineering).
- Design and implement AI-powered applications, leveraging Python, SQL/NoSQL, and APIs.
- Prototype, test, and optimise models for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
- Explore the latest open-source AI tools (e.g. Hugging Face, LangChain) and integrate them into solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and deliver high-impact AI use cases.
- Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, business-focused way.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of professional experience in AI/ML/Data Science roles (3–5 years total experience).
- Strong skills in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow).
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, APIs, and data integration.
- Knowledge of ML techniques, NLP, and Generative AI.
- Problem-solving mindset with excellent communication skills.
- Bonus: familiarity with cloud AI platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and solution architecture.
