Our Service Technicians perform diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on agricultural and horticultural machinery, both in our busy workshop and on-site at our customers’ locations. We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled individual to join our team, specifically focussing on groundcare/horticultural machinery & equipment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work accurately and efficiently
- Use diagnostic tools and technical manuals to identify and resolve issues
- Carry out pre‑delivery inspections and prepare equipment for customer use
- Complete job cards, service reports, and warranty documentation accurately
- Provide technical support and advice to customers when required
- Ensure all work is completed in line with manufacturer guidelines and health & safety standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organised working environment
Attributes we are looking for:
- Previous experience as a groundcare, horticultural, small engine, or similar technician
- Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of petrol, diesel, battery‑powered, and robotic equipment
- Ability to use computer applications and manufacturer service portals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Relevant qualifications or manufacturer training are desirable but not essential
