Treasury Analyst
Your role in a nutshell:
We’re on the hunt for a sharp, driven, and detail-oriented Treasury Analystto help us build out a new cash pool in EMEA.
In the role you will be providing support to Treasury leadership with Treasury related tasks and administration, including cash reporting, cash optimization, cash-flow forecasting, developing and documenting policies and procedures, assisting in the management of bank operations to provide a world class Treasury service.
In addition, you will experience other areas of Treasury, such as Risk Management, Capital Markets & FX Management.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Participate in Treasury projects in various fields, such as Treasury restructuring, bank relationship rationalization, bank cost optimization.
- Assist in the setup and management of a new Notional Cash pool in EMEA.
- Maintain direct relationships with EMEA banking providers.
- Interact with cash pool participants where necessary to validate cash balances, discuss cash surplus/deficit where appropriate.
- Assist in forecasting cash requirements and optimizing cash position (Cash pool and entity level) as well as managing our global Area of World cash forecasting process.
- Monitor the overall position of the cash pool daily to maintain appropriate cash levels.
- Actively search for process improvements and support Treasury projects.
- Assist with statutory audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Closely cooperate with regional and global Treasury teams.
- Willing to be involved in other areas of Treasury (Capital Markets, FX management & Business Risk Management).
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Treasury initiatives.
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Treasury & Cash Management knowledge, and experience (2+ years)
- Advanced Excel knowledge and other office products
- Comfortable working in fast paced, multinational environment
- Familiarity with Treasury management systems and software is an advantage
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Degree in Business, Finance or Economics
- Self-starter who can work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Very good organisation skills and have a structured approach
- Flexibility in working hours as needed
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
