About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Senior Civil Engineer/Technician to become an integral part of our team, contributing to a varied portfolio of projects. This role focuses on developing innovative infrastructure solutions across housing, commercial, residential, and extra care sectors. The successful candidate will engage with both public and private sector projects, ensuring adherence to UK design standards. Responsibilities: • Collaborating on diverse projects, including housing, commercial, residential, and extra care developments. • using design software to create innovative infrastructure solutions. • Producing drainage and highway drawings, design calculations, and technical reports. • Preparing technical approvals and liaising with residential developers. • Attending site inspections and providing guidance to ensure compliance with relevant design standards. Requirements: • A degree (BEng, MEng, MSc) or diploma (HND, HNC) in Civil Engineering, with at least four years of post-qualification experience. • Proficiency in technical software such as AutoCAD, Microdrainage/Flow, Causeway Live/PDS/Civil 3D, and AutoTrack. • Familiarity with of UK planning procedures and relevant design codes, including Water UK Sewerage Sector Guidance and Manual for Streets. • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. • Self-motivation with the ability to work independently and mentor team members. • Good communication skills.
