A respected multidisciplinary consultancy, renowned for its expertise in structural, civil, and fire engineering, is seeking to expand its specialist team. About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fire Engineer to join the firm’s expanding team. This opportunity is ideal for a professional with a solid foundation in fire safety design and regulatory compliance, who is eager to take ownership of projects from concept through to completion. The successful candidate will work closely with internal design teams and external stakeholders to deliver technically robust, regulation-compliant fire engineering solutions across a diverse range of building types.

Responsibilities:

* Develop fire strategies for a wide range of building projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

* Conduct fire risk assessments and fire modelling as required.

* Collaborate with architects, clients, and design teams to integrate fire safety into the overall design.

* Support the preparation of technical reports, fire statements, and specifications.

* Engage with regulatory authorities and support clients through approval processes.

* Stay up to date with changes in fire safety legislation and industry standards.

* Assist in mentoring junior team members and contributing to internal technical knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

* Degree-qualified in Fire Engineering or a related discipline.

* Minimum of three years’ experience in fire engineering within the built environment.

* Strong understanding of UK and Irish building regulations related to fire safety.

* Experience with tools such as CFD modelling or evacuation simulations is desirable.

* Confident communicator with good report-writing and stakeholder liaison skills.

* Ability to manage workload across multiple projects with strong attention to detail.

* Proactive, team-oriented mindset with a desire to continue growing professionally.
