An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Civil & Structural Technologist/Technician to join a well-established and expanding engineering consultancy based in Galway. This role offers the chance to contribute to the delivery of high-quality designs across a range of medium- to large-scale building and infrastructure projects throughout Ireland, all within a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver civil and structural draughting services across a variety of building and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings and contribute to BIM/Revit workflows.
- Coordinate with engineers and project stakeholders to ensure high standards and timely delivery.
- Participate in occasional site visits to support project requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with design specifications and deadlines.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 7 qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Ideally five years of industry experience (flexible depending on candidate background).
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit/BIM required.
- Civil 3D proficiency preferred.
- Prior experience working on civil and structural projects within the Irish or UK market is essential.
- Strong communication, organisation, and time-management skills.
- Full driver’s licence and access to own transport.
