A Registered Manager vacancy has arisen at our Children's Home in Kempston, Bedford. The Home is supported by a Deputy Manager, two Team Leaders and a group of committed residential care staff. The Home has consistently been rated 'Good' by Ofsted and is a settled Home.
You will be responsible for managing the home and supporting the staff to deliver the highest quality care to the children. You will be responsible for overall monitoring and quality improvement of the Home, bringing creative ideas and implementing them when needed. You will be committed to creating a therapeutic environment for the children with a happy, supported staff team. You will have budget responsibility, monitor thoroughly the Home and report to the Responsible Individual. You will be required to work with the Management Team at a strategic level.
We are committed to training and developing staff and you will be included in the ongoing PLACE training, which is the model used within our Homes. We offer further training for particular interests including a Level 7 Diploma in Leadership Strategy and Innovation.
Essential Requirements- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership Management
- 3 Years experience working with children in the last 5 years
- Experience of managing a Children's Home or at least 1 year at a senior level
- Enthusiastic, committed and ambitious
- Full driving licence
