Make a real difference in the lives of children and young people. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Residential Childcare Worker to join our caring and committed team in Hitchin. You will play a crucial role in supporting children with emotional and behavioural needs in a warm, safe, and nurturing home environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care, guidance, and support to children aged 11β17 with complex needs
- Build trusting relationships and act as a positive role model
- Support young people with education, health, activities, and life skills
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning and reviews
- Work as part of a team to ensure a consistent and therapeutic approach
- Promote safeguarding and ensure the highest standards of care are met
