About The Role

Are you a compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistant looking to make a genuine difference in people’s lives? Kitnocks House is looking for dedicated individuals with at least one year’s experience within a care home setting to join our award-winning team. Our 63-bed home is made up of four specialised units, each providing high-quality, person-centred care for residents living with complex needs, including dementia, mental health conditions, or other neurological disorders. What You’ll Bring

  • 12 months minimum experience working in nursing and/or care homes, as a healthcare assistant or similar role within the UK (essential)
  • A genuine passion for helping others and promoting dignity and independence
  • Emotional resilience and a steady head in challenging situations
  • Good communication skills (both written & verbal)
  • A positive team-focused attitude
  • A caring, reliable, and positive attitude
  • Willingness to undertake training and continuous professional development
  • NVQ Level 2 or working towards it (desirable)

Your Working Pattern

Night shift: 19:30 – 08:00 Average: 40.25 hours per week Alternate weekends

  • Support all aspects of daily living including personal care, mealtimes, and social activities
  • Promote independence, choice, and dignity in every interaction
  • Observe and report on changes in residents’ health and well-being
