For almost two decades, Cornerstone’s infrastructure has quietly supported the UK’s mobile networks. Whilst we continue to strengthen that foundation and extend its reach, we’re in an exciting period of acceleration and transformation that will see us enable more connectivity and compute to more communities and industries across the UK.
The Role: To support the transactional arm of the Legal & Compliance team by managing and progressing property transactions from instruction through to completion, ensuring efficient, consistent and high-quality delivery across Cornerstone’s Estates programmes. This role sits at the heart of the transactional process, working closely with Transactional Property Counsel, Estates teams and external stakeholders to drive transaction progress, coordinate activities and remove blockers. Combining operational delivery, stakeholder management and process discipline, you'll play a key role in helping the business deliver property transactions at scale while developing your expertise in telecoms property and infrastructure law.
Why This Role Matters: This is an exciting opportunity to join a business that is helping to shape the UK's digital future. As Cornerstone continues to expand and evolve its infrastructure portfolio, the efficient delivery of property transactions is critical to enabling strategic business objectives and supporting ongoing network development. Transactional Case Managers play a vital role in ensuring transactions progress smoothly, stakeholders remain aligned and delivery targets are achieved. This role provides the opportunity to develop specialist knowledge within a fast-paced and commercially focused environment, while contributing directly to some of the business's most important Estates programmes. For someone who enjoys organisation, problem solving and driving progress, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while building a rewarding career within Legal & Compliance.
What You'll Do:
- Manage and progress a high volume of property transactions, ensuring activity moves efficiently through each stage of the transaction lifecycle.
- Track transaction milestones and proactively drive progress, identifying potential delays and escalating risks where necessary.
- Review transaction instructions and Heads of Terms, ensuring all required information is complete, accurate and ready for progression.
- Support the preparation and coordination of transactional documentation, including document packs, schedules and supporting information.
- Act as a key point of contact for Estates teams, external solicitors and Legal colleagues, ensuring queries are resolved quickly and effectively.
- Chase stakeholders and coordinate activities to maintain momentum and support timely transaction completion.
- Maintain accurate records across internal systems, providing clear visibility of transaction status, milestones and progress.
- Support transaction completions and post-completion activities, ensuring documentation, registrations and system updates are completed accurately.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance data quality and increase efficiency across the transactional delivery lifecycle.
- Contribute to wider Legal & Compliance initiatives, supporting collaboration, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the team.
What You'll Bring: You'll bring experience from a legal, property or transactional environment and enjoy working in a fast-paced setting where organisation, attention to detail and stakeholder management are essential. You'll be confident managing multiple priorities simultaneously and take pride in ensuring work is completed accurately and efficiently. You may be a newly qualified solicitor, paralegal, legal administrator or case handler looking to build your experience within a specialist area of property transactions. You'll be proactive in your approach, comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders and motivated by driving progress and achieving results.
You'll also bring:
- Experience managing high-volume caseloads or workflow-driven activities.
- Strong organisational and case management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- The ability to proactively identify issues and drive solutions.
- Experience working with legal documentation and transaction processes.
- Confidence using systems, trackers and reporting tools.
- A collaborative and adaptable approach to working within a busy team environment.
Above all, you'll be motivated by the opportunity to support major infrastructure projects, build your expertise in property transactions and contribute to a high-performing Legal & Compliance function.
