The role exists to assure the quality of the services we offer to our customers, both in terms of introducing new capabilities as well as changes to existing.
Responsibilities
- Creation and maintenance of Manual and Automated Test cases
- Execution of both Manual and Automated Test cases
- Verification of any test cases written by other QA's, Developers, BA's, SME's or Test Manager
- Create, triage, prioritise and track defects through to resolution and re-test
- Manage User Acceptance Test phase
- Ensure that pre and post deployment checks are carried out to verify code release and environment configurations are correct
- Champion the importance of Quality across the business

Experience
- Strong background of manual and automated testing and test principles
- A solid understanding of test and defect management using tools such as Azure / JIRA.
- Proven experience of using IDEs (Visual Studio/Android Studio, Xcode) for creating and maintaining automation test suites in a dot .net framework using Selenium WebDriver, C# and SpecFlow using BDD.
- Understanding of Continuous integration, Continuous delivery, and the role of DevOps
- Experience of testing Restful APIs using products such as Postman / SoapUI
- Understanding of JSON, HTML, XML.
- Experience working with SQL databases.
- Work collaboratively with the clients and end users.
- Work as a member of a cross functional agile team with a focus on delivery.

- Experience working in Agile development
- Experience working with Appium (simulator) / Lamda (real devices in the cloud) or similar across Android and IOS
- Experience working with emulators and real devices to ensure OS, device and browser compatibility
- Appreciation of testing accessibility of apps using screen readings, accessibility services such as Google Talk Back, Switch Access, Accessibility Scanner, Pre Launch reports etc.
- Experience of load testing
