As our Operational Health & Safety Manager, you'll play a key role in driving a safe, compliant, and risk aware environment across our Operational Site Maintenance and Estates Assurance projects. You will:
- Partner with Operational teams to identify, assess, and manage reported hazards.
- Support Project teams in evaluating Health & Safety risks and putting effective mitigation plans into action.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on Health & Safety risks across our estate.
- Work closely with Estates Management and Legal teams to understand and manage Site Provider related risks.
- Produce sharp, insight led performance reports, including trend analysis.
- Provide expert Health & Safety guidance to our maintenance suppliers, ensuring strong governance and issue resolution.
- Deliver clear, accurate reporting on performance, risks, and mitigation activity.
Responsibilities:
- Support Operational Project teams to assess and categorise reported site hazards.
- Escalate emerging risks and issues to the Head of HSQE & the Head of Operations.
- Providing a level of governance across the Centralised Estate Risk Register.
- Support the Operations teams and the maintenance contractor to triage and prioritise health and safety hazards reported.
- Support the Access Management Team on safety related issues and advice.
- Consult with the Estates Management team on Site Provider health and safety risks and issues.
- Support the HSQE Incident Manager investigation process.
What You'll Bring:
- Good general all round Regulatory knowledge of the mobile infrastructure industry.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments.
- Experience in conducting health and safety audits and inspection.
- Preferred NEBOSH Certificate in construction (or general as a minimum).
- 3+ years working in an operational role in telecoms or construction environments.
- IOSH registered member.
- Experienced in working in a Safety Support role.
