Responsibilities

  • Drive growth with impact β€” shape and execute bold business development strategies that open new markets, win new customers, and accelerate revenue.
  • Spot opportunities first β€” use market insight, trend analysis, and competitor intelligence to target high value sectors with confidence.
  • Own your pipeline β€” build, qualify, and progress a strong flow of opportunities in the CRM, ensuring momentum at every stage of the sales cycle.
  • Take action β€” convert prospects through dynamic outreach, events, and high energy networking.
  • Shape the numbers β€” create robust commercial models and partner with Commercial Finance to validate viability and strengthen business cases.
  • Influence decision making β€” present compelling, data driven business cases for leadership approval.
  • Build lasting relationships β€” engage new and existing customers with a consultative, customer first approach.
  • Make collaboration seamless β€” work across Marketing, Delivery, Legal, Procurement, Finance, and more to ensure aligned, successful outcomes.

  • Bonus experience β€” knowledge of the Transportation/Utilities/Public Sector or similar industries is helpful, but not essential.

We are looking for an individual who has a proven track record in successfully selling within the UK Public Sector, Utilities or Transportation - within the mobile and telecommunications industry. You will need to have a strong record in new business development, including experience in opening new enterprise and SMB size accounts and building senior relationships. Strong business acumen, including deal structure, development and value proposition and negotiation skills. A hunter, who is proactive, persistent, creative, accountable, and tenacious.
