Our amazing #TeamSunnybank in Aberdeen are now on the lookout for caring, compassionate and flexible colleagues to join them asSupport Practitionerson a permanent and relief basis. We have contract sizes ranging from 16 – 39 hours per week.
The Role
You\’ll become part of a friendly, dedicated, fun team who supports two gentlemen and one lady with complex learning and physical disabilities who live in their own shared home. The great thing about this job is no two days are ever the same.
Your main aim will be supporting each individual with their day to day needs, including personal care, shopping, finances, cooking, housework and medication. You\’ll also support with each individual\’s hobbies and interests too, including music, films, in-house activities, going for walks, day trips, the cinema, swimming, discos and arts & crafts.
About You
You don\’t need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferrable skills. However, as the individuals we support do have barriers to communication, we will need you to bring an excellent grasp and understanding of spoken and written English.
We\’ll pay you for your training and will give you all the practical skills you\’ll need. We\’ll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too!

Shift Patterns
As we\’re dedicated to providing around the clock support tailored to the needs of each individual, shift patterns do include early mornings, days, evenings, sleepovers, weekends and public holidays, so we will need you to be flexible.
Our sleepovers don\’t form part of your contracted hours meaning you will receivean additional payment of £100.80for each sleepover that you work!
