About The Role

Cornerstone Healthcare is looking for a passionate Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our award-winning team at Kitnocks House. We provide care to 63 residents across four specialised units, supporting those with varying complex care. What We’re Looking For:
- 12 months experience in Healthcare / Leadership role (essential)
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable)
- A caring, calm and compassionate nature
- Emotional resilience and a steady head in challenging situations
- A genuine interest in helping others live full, dignified lives
- Great communication skills (both written & verbal)
- A positive team-focused attitude
What hours will you work?
Week A - 3 days - 07.30 to 20.00
Week B - 4 days - 07.30 to 20.00
Total average of 40.25 hours worked per week, including alternate weekends.

What will you be doing?
- Prioritising workload of the care team, seeking advice from the nurse in charge where necessary
- Participate in meetings including staff meetings, case reviews, clinical reviews, as prescribed by the Nurse in charge
- Observe resident progress against planned goals and report changes in the residents’ condition or care needs to a registered nurse
- Supporting all aspects of daily living including personal care, mealtimes and social activities
- Helping residents to remain as independent as possible
- Respecting residents right of choice, privacy and dignity at all times
