To support the Legal & Compliance team by delivering property due diligence and statutory notice workstreams that underpin the successful delivery of Cornerstone’s Estates programmes. This role combines property analysis, legal process management and stakeholder coordination, helping to ensure that telecoms property transactions are built on accurate, robust and legally compliant foundations.

Working closely with Transactional Property Counsel, Estates teams and external stakeholders, you'll play a key role in identifying risks, managing statutory notice processes and supporting efficient legal delivery at scale. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing Legal & Compliance team that plays a critical role in enabling Cornerstone’s infrastructure ambitions.

The quality of title due diligence and statutory notice management directly impacts transaction success, programme delivery and legal risk management. This role sits at the heart of that process, helping to identify potential issues early, ensure legal compliance and provide the foundations needed for successful telecoms property transactions.

For someone who enjoys analysis, problem-solving and working with legal and property information, this role offers the opportunity to develop specialist expertise while contributing to projects that help connect communities and businesses across the UK.

  • Undertake title reviews and due diligence across telecoms sites, assessing ownership structures, restrictions, third-party rights and potential risks.
  • Analyse Land Registry documentation and summarise findings in a clear, structured format to support legal decision-making.
  • Prepare, coordinate and serve statutory notices, including Electronic Communications Code notices and other property-related notices.
  • Ensure notices are accurately drafted, served in accordance with legal requirements and fully documented within established audit processes.
  • Identify title defects, legal risks and process issues, escalating material matters to Transactional Property Counsel where appropriate.
  • Work closely with Estates teams, Transactional Property Counsel and external stakeholders to progress due diligence and notice-related activities.
  • Contribute to the development of efficient, scalable legal processes by identifying opportunities to improve consistency, tracking and delivery performance.
  • Support wider Legal & Compliance initiatives, including knowledge sharing, process improvement projects and internal training activities.

You'll bring experience from a legal, property or conveyancing environment, along with a strong eye for detail and an analytical approach to reviewing information. Comfortable working with title documentation and legal processes, you'll enjoy investigating issues, identifying risks and ensuring work is completed accurately and efficiently.

You'll be organised, proactive and capable of managing multiple workstreams simultaneously, while maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail. Working collaboratively with legal colleagues, Estates teams and external stakeholders, you'll help ensure transactions progress smoothly and risks are identified early.

  • Experience as a paralegal, legal assistant or case handler within a property or conveyancing environment.
  • Experience reviewing title documents and supporting property due diligence activities.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret property information and identify potential risks.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Confidence working with systems, trackers and legal case management processes.
