  • Manage the commercial and contractual performance of SGN’s property, land, construction and estates contracts, ensuring value for money, effective governance and robust risk management.

  • Provide commercial support across property acquisitions, disposals, leases, easements, servitudes, land rights, compensation matters and construction-related activities.

  • Build and manage relationships with property consultants, land agents, valuers, contractors, legal advisers and other specialist service providers.

  • Support procurement, mobilisation, supplier performance management and governance activities across property and construction-related contracts.

  • Identify, manage and mitigate commercial, contractual and construction delivery risks across the property portfolio.

  • Partner with Property, Legal, Finance, Operational Delivery teams to support successful project delivery and commercial outcomes.


What you will need



  • Experience in commercial management, quantity surveying, contract management or a similar commercial role.

  • Knowledge of property, land, infrastructure, construction, utilities or professional services contracts.

  • Strong commercial, financial and risk management skills, with the ability to manage complex contractual and construction-related issues.

  • Experience managing supplier and contractor performance and building effective stakeholder relationships.

  • Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge constructively and drive value-for-money outcomes.

  • A relevant qualification such as CIPS, RICS, NEC accreditation, degree-level education or equivalent commercial experience is desirable.
