Help shape what's next at SGN. Transformation at SGN isn't about delivering one project or implementing one new system. It's about reimagining how we work, using technology, data and continuous improvement to build a business that's simpler, smarter and ready for the future. We're delivering a portfolio of strategic programmes that will modernise the way we operate, improve the experience of our customers and colleagues, and help us respond to the changing expectations of the energy industry. From digital innovation and AI to business change, operational excellence and new ways of working, we're creating the foundations for the next generation of SGN.
As a PMO Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of that journey, helping to keep complex programmes organised, connected and moving forward. You'll work alongside experienced programme and project professionals, giving you the opportunity to develop your career while making a real impact on one of the UK's largest business transformation portfolios. The PMO Coordinator plays a critical interface role within the COO portfolio, offering agile and practical support across transformation initiatives. This role ensures effective tracking, governance, and representation across programmes and provides additional capacity where Project or Programme Managers are not assigned.
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical PMO Coordinator to support the Business Project Management Office in monitoring and improving project delivery across the organisation. You will be responsible for gathering, analysing, and reporting project data to ensure projects align with timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Your insights will help drive informed decision-making and enhance programme governance.
Here’s how you will contribute…
- Collect, validate, and analyse project and programme data across multiple workstreams.
- Prepare and maintain project dashboards, status reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for senior stakeholders.
- Support the PMO in tracking project progress, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Assist in the development and continuous improvement of PMO processes, templates, and tools.
- Coordinate project documentation and ensure version control and compliance with governance standards.
- Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders by providing timely and accurate project information.
- Support the identification and escalation of project risks and issues to appropriate stakeholders.
- Assist with organising project meetings, workshops, and governance forums.
What you will need
- Previous experience in a PMO, project support, or project coordination role.
- Strong analytical and data management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Power BI, or Excel.
- Good understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile) is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

You might be just who we’re looking for – now or in the future.
