You're in luck as our amazing #TeamHalliday in Peterhead are now on the lookout for one or two caring and reliable individuals to join them on a part-time (12, 14 or 26 hours per week) basis.

As a Support Practitioner you'll become part of a friendly team who provides invaluable support to a young gentleman who has autism and lives in his own home. You’ll build a genuine relationship with him and be part of moments that really matter; whether it’s providing support to cook a meal, achieve a goal, try something new or just feel understood. In addition to supporting with all aspects of his daily living, you’ll also support him with his hobbies and interests too, including swimming, walking, going to the golf range, outings, going for meals and drives in the car. Being a Support Practitioner is more than just a job, there’s no better feeling than going home after every shift knowing that you’ve made a positive difference in someone’s life.

About You

You don’t need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and we’ll give you all the training you’ll need if you’re successful. We’ll pay you for your training and will even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification, PVG costs and SSSC registration fees too! As the gentleman that we support has his own mobility car, we will need you to hold a full manual driving licence for this particular opportunity.

Shift Patterns

As we’re dedicated to providing the best 24/7 support possible, shift patterns for this team will usually fall into patterns of Monday‑Friday 1515‑2300 or 0700‑0915 hours (includes a sleep‑over) and weekend shifts on a rotational basis; 0900‑1600, 1600‑2300 and 0700‑0900 hours (includes a sleep‑over). The sleep‑over part of a sleep‑over shift is not included in your contracted hours, so you will receive an additional £100.80 for each sleep‑over worked.
